Dr Revathy Arulventhan
MB BS FRACP


Revathy Arulventhan MBBS FRACP has been a physician in Nuclear Medicine for over 15 years. She was a Staff Specialist at St. Vincent Hospital, until she became a private practitioner in 2003, joining Burwood Nuclear Medicine.

She completed her under-graduate training at Concord & Westmead hospitals and the post-graduate specialist training at Royal Prince Alfred, Westmead & St. Vincent hospitals. She subsequently undertook her PET/CT training at Westmead hospital. She has wide experience in Nuclear Cardiology and worked at dedicated Cardiology practices.

Her areas of interest include research, teaching, nuclear cardiology, CT coronary angiogram and PET/ CT imaging.

As an experienced Nuclear Physician, her goal is to promote an innovative and evidence based approach to nuclear imaging at Burwood Nuclear Medicine with an aim to provide the highest standard of imaging care possible.

Dr Andrew F McLaughlin
MB BS FRACP


Andrew has been a physician in Nuclear Medicine for over 40 years. He was a Staff Specialist and Clinical Director of Nuclear Medicine at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for 25 years until 1993 when he opened Burwood Nuclear Medicine and became a full time private practitioner.

His initial training at RPAH was followed by a year of post-graduate studies and research at the University of Chicago in 1972/1973. He has a long list of publications and has held many office positions, including President of his professional Association of Physicians in Nuclear Medicine and also the Peer Review Committee of the Division of Medicine at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Andrew has been in private practice for over 25 years and is highly experienced in all facets of Nuclear Medicine.
